Kevin Kent is a native Washingtonian and a finance graduate of Virginia Tech. He began his real estate career in multifamily appraisal where he specialized in tax credit housing. Kevin subsequently moved to Freddie Mac’s underwriting group in McLean, Virginia. At Freddie Mac he learned the day to day culture of one of the nation’s mortgage giants and practiced firsthand in the residential underwriting environment of post-housing bubble America. Kevin also worked as an asset manager in the multifamily asset management group of Wells Fargo Multifamily Capital in McLean, Virginia where he practiced the ins and outs of mortgage servicing.
Kevin Kent joined LeaderOne Financial in Kansas City as a loan officer prior to returning to Washington, D.C. to open LeaderOne’s first Washington, D.C. area branch. As the Regional Branch Manager, Kevin is responsible for day to day branch operations, loan origination and financial authorship. His interests are eclectic, including college sports, public policy, history, archaeology, horror films and his faith.
